The Election of CUET Alumni Association, Canada will be held on June 26, 2010 to elect office bearer of Association for term 2010 to 2012
Election commission has been formed with three members in the committee. The members are

Abul Kalam M. Ansary- 1968
Arunangshu Hor-1969
The Election commission is requesting the interested members to submit their nomination paper with the NOMINATION FORM for upcoming election. The candidate has to follow the NOMINATION RULES of ELECTION which established by the commission as mentioned below.

Notice of Amendment of time schedule
18th day of May 2010
Upon the request of several members of the Alumni Association following amendments were made by Election Commission in Election 2010(Rules)
Last date of submission of Nomination Paper is extended till May 30, 2010
Last date of withdrawal of Nomination paper is extended till June 5, 2010-05-18
All other rules and timings are same as declared in previous notice.

CUET Alumni Association, Canada- Election 2010
ELECTION 2010 (RULES)
The Election 2010 of CUET Alumni Association, Canada will be held during the annual Picnic Day (June 26, 2010) at High Park in Toronto (near High Park Subway Station), for the following Positions:
President
Executive Vice President
Vice President I
Vice President II
General Secretary
Associate General Secretary
Finance secretary
Associate Finance secretary
Public Relation Secretary
Sports and Cultural Secretary
Executive Members (3 No’s)
Nomination Papers could be available from the attached sheet.
Nomination must be submitted to the Election Commission one of following options:
- by mail to the address below
- by person

- Last date of submission of Nomination paper is May 28, 2010 (before 12:pm Eastern time)
- Last date of withdrawal of Nomination Paper is June 4, 2010
- All candidates must be a member of the CUET Alumni Association Canada, with all current dues paid
- Each nomination paper should be accompanied by non-refundable fees of CAD$25.00 (in cash or Cheque payable to: CUET ALUMNI ASSOCIATION, CANADA)
- All CUET Alumni Association members of Canada are eligible voters and must cast their votes by person on the Election day
- CUET Alumni members are eligible to be a candidate for only one position of election and must have to renew their membership before submission of the Nomination Paper
- All nomination papers would be scrutinized by the Election Commission
- Election commission will notify the candidate if nomination paper is rejected.
- Election commission will notify the name of the successful nominees on June 10, 2010
- In case of a tie for a position, the Election Commission will hold a lottery to declare the winner
- Election commission will declare the result at the end of the Election Day.
